Remedial (Deep Tissue) Massage Techniques

30 hours
(one weekend plus research and practice time).

Non-assessed
(no assignment or hands-on competency assessment).

Current Government and Ministry of Education (and therefore NZQA policy) has recently directed, through the Targeted Review of Qualifications completed in early 2014, that the number and scope of NZQA-approved massage courses on offer is to be reduced. Seeking approval for a new programme is therefore pointless. Its a Jolly Good course anyway, and without NZQA approval is seriously affordable :-)

This weekend workshop is a follow-on for people who have completed the Holistic Massage Course, or some other training in Massage Therapy, or need a refresher in Advanced techniques. It is not an entry level course. Please contact the Director on lynda@hht.co.nz to find out if you qualify for entry.

You will received a smart-looking Certificate of Attendance issued by HHT Ltd saying that you have completed a level 5 30-hour course in Deep Tissue and Remedial Massage Techniques.

The course takes place when there are sufficient numbers (usually a minimum of 6) to run a training. The tutor-student ratio is 1 6. If there are more trainees, additional tutors will be brought in to ensure close coaching.

The course is available in Nelson, Christchurch, Tauranga and Auckland.

Workshop fee includes a comprehensive colour Manual; a Techniques DVD is in preparation. The fee for 2014; $300.00 per person.
